Dan and I took Kassidy to Festival Place this afternoon. They had a FREE event and it was amazing! Face painting, crafts, petting zoo (where she was only interested in the rabbits, of course), cookie decorating, bonfire, sleigh rides, glow sticks, mascots, SANTA, hot chocolate and snacks, roasting marshmallows, and the grand finaley was turning on the Christmas lights. And we met another little girl there, she must have been a volunteer because she was wearing a name tag, who's name was Kassidy. Yes, spelt with a K. I thought that was pretty cool.
Oh yeah, and Kass wasn't afraid of Santa this year. Well, she was at first, but then when she saw the candy canes and I told her she had to see Santa to get one, she was all for it. When it was her turn to see him she RAN up to him and jumped in his lap. Pretty big change from last year! She asked him for ALL the Barbies, and a baby woolly mammoth. Santa chuckled and said "well, we'll see what we can do". :)
